Hazy morning

I was at my 'desk' editing early this morning, making the most of the outside before the weather breaks. The vista was a little hazy so sky and sea are almost merged in this shot. I like the stillness of the water and the painterly quality of the castle. 

After a day's work and a struggle cooking a curry with different saucepans and hob, I made it to the beach in good time for the sunset - and it was another stunner (extra). I sat there until it got dark, saw a group of people doing the Charleston on the sand (yes it was a surprise to me too!) and watched as the lights came on around the castle.
