Helau!

Karneval season is getting into full-swing and I'm going to miss it. But given that I'm not one for standing around drinking in the street and the fact that it's going to be absolutely freezing, I think I'll cope.

Back at the vet this morning for Moot's bi-weekly blood testing. He wasn't looking forward to it. When we went upstairs to get him, he was straight under the sofa. Clever cat.

However, his diabetes has stabilised and he's doing quite well. Hooray for him.

Today's Not-Very-Good-Blip was taken at the Rathaus where people were beginning to gather for drinking and eating and other forms of excess. This is what you say to people here at Karneval. The greeting varies around the country though - I believe our friends in Kaiserslautern are supposed to say "Kalau!" and in Darmstadt it's "Hä-Hopp!".
