Katie’s Cottage

This is our home for the next few days. A bit of a but’n’ben. I wasn’t very taken with it last night, especially given an uncomfortable bed but having switched bedroom and got some sleep it’s grown on me. It was a beautiful day today. We wandered up the tiny roads to get the lie of the land, including encountering Croik Church (famous in the history of the clearances) and then lay on a rug outside reading and dozing in the sun. A constant breeze down the Strath keeping of the midges and clegs.
