I watched a Small White butterfly depositing her tiny eggs on nasturtium leaves mostly in single groups although I guess the eggs here were probably laid by a Large White as they tend to deposit them in large groups.  However I am not going to let them develop as any resulting caterpillars will destroy my plants.
