A bit of a pickle!

Decided that today was the day I tried my had at making pickle.  So freshly picked rhubarb from my bountiful plant and away we went.  It really was quite easy to do, the house smells like a pickle factory but the end result is very tasty with just enough bite.

Late afternoon I checked the tide tables and  went to Mablethorpe to take some photographs of the tide bell.  
It is broken at the moment and cannot be repaired until after COVID, so it does not ring.  I went at low tide to get the whole bell.  It is something I will definitely return to on a nicer day.  I would love to hear it in action..
