Fending for ourselves now.
The organised part of the a holiday ended on Friday with us collecting a hire car at Queenstown airport and heading off on our own. The car is a daihatsu with 130,000 km on the clock and a nasty whine from the differential - I just hope it will manage another couple of thousand clicks before it gives up the ghost!
Nasty shock today when we had to get our own breakfast!
