Lost Home

There was a pair of falcons living on the roof of the BayWa tower down the road but sadly they’ve been forcibly evicted. Hope they found another penthouse somewhere to raise this year’s brood. The guy in the street had stopped his car to take a photo, couldn’t resist.
Talking of birds, we’ve only spotted a single pair of storks and there are no swifts to be seen at all - I miss their screaming bug hunts in the morning!
Talking of bugs, the extra is a grasshopper that was sunning itself on the terrace late on. It’s antennae were huge! Struggled to get a decent pic of it, even breaking out the ‘good’ camera and attempting macro shots but failing miserably. It was unfazed by my bumbling about, only moving on when I wound the awning up.
Quiz time again tonight as the sun set, no Fifers present, no apologies either so they’ll be docked points next week! Both sets of neighbours were out on their terraces - we outlasted them all - but unlike in the pub no one offered up any answers. Another fine evening.
