Looking west over Weilheim, sun going down, beautiful temperature for a wander which was what we were doing, checking out whether a long-closed beergarden was open again. It isn’t yet but we’re hopeful. Earlier we’d swung past another in Polling and they are re-opening, maybe as early as Saturday if they can get the dishwasher working. I almost offered to help out and wash dishes in exchange for food and drink!
We headed into Murnau this morning to do some shopping for S’s mum. It was a very small shopping list - pils. But it’s an essential so no problem. Weeded the hard-to-reach end of her balcony window-box afterwards, a regular if infrequent task of mine. Then we were off to meet Rainer and have a catch-up over beer and pizza. I obviously need more practice at drinking beer in warm weather though as I crashed out as soon as we got home. Luckily there’s plenty time to get that practice in.
