Flooding at Gilbert Run

Two days after the hurricane the docks and piers are still underwater, as are many of the picnic tables.The trail on the right side of the pond is also under water. Right after the hurricane someone posted photos of the park that showed the park offices by the kayaks with about 6 inches of water around the building. There is a sign at the front of the park that says "Closed for the Season." What a shame as it is such a busy park and many people use it for events, especially now that indoor venues are mostly closed.
