Morning, and a visit from Jules! We sat in the back garden and chewed some fat awhile. We’ve a lot in common and we go back to student days, and we’ve ended up living not so far apart. Best of all, he follows the Hearts, despite some strange background attending Jesuit school in the Home Counties. Inclusive, us. 
And then another visit - mon cousin, la belle Suz, up from covid-infested-Boris-land with her husband the newly bearded and retired F. And, after a visit to the OCP (a regular occurrence these past few weeks), I took ‘em for a sail, knowing how much F loves it. And a very fine sailor he is, I can report. He may even have talked himself onto the shortlist for the Granton-Peterhead stretch of the great voyage next year. OK, no one else has applied.
