The Peaceful Tay

A beautiful, sunny day without any wind

My wife and I went for a walk on the South Bank of the Tay - part of the Fife Coastal Path. We walked from Wormit to Balmerino and back - a distance of 5 miles along very steep banks but with beautiful views. The Tay was absolutely still, not a ripple. The view from Wormit of the Tay Bridge and Dundee with its hills was outstanding. We had a picnic lunch at Balmerino bay and could have stayed there a long time - the view up river was amazing.
