Soggy Sweet Peas

Today's the day ……………………. to be miserable

Everything is miserable in this heavy, heavy rain and gusty winds that we have endured all day.

The sweet peas are sodden and battered - like most of the plants in the garden.  I'm particularly fed up because the Tongland Abbey Dig was cancelled today because of the weather and I was looking forward to that.  The central heating has turned itself on this afternoon because the temperature must have dropped.

Time to curl up with a good book I think ………………...
