Birthday Girl

Twenty-Two Today
The weekend is all about Samantha and celebrating her birthday, her way.
So it was up and out to wheel in her cycle as a surprise. Not any old cycle but an ex GPO cycle, completely restored by ‘Cycle For Good’. The deal is that we order and pay for the cycle and they overhaul two, one for Sam and one for an African charity, win-win. When it comes to colour you cannot choose red as it scares the elephants!!
Next up it was a vegan breakfast from the Vegan Food Market on the Moor, not the best meal I’ve had but Sam enjoyed it.

We then set off for Rough Tor on Bodmin Moor, climbed to the top and admired the view, breathtaking. On to the Jamaica Inn for coffee and snacks before stopping off at the Roche Hermitage. Our last stop was to see what is left of the ‘Nelson’ tree carving at Charleston before heading home, all tired, all happy.

Birthday Cake with ice cream - what a way to finish the day.
