Atlavik

At our favourite campsite, we slept until 10.30 am! Absolutely whacked after yesterday’s activities. We had a leisurely breakfast, inside the tent, as it was drizzling. A day for relaxing mainly, we made our way to Egilstadir‘s lovely outside hot swimming pool and hot pots. The sun even came out, even though the forecast was very bad. After a long soak, we went to the great coffee shop, which is very retro with new and second hand books, vinyl etc. found a fantastic book - East Iceland Peaks, ooh lovely, had to buy it.
Cooked dinner at the tent, Swiss Hero Rösti, from a packet with fried eggs and tomatoes plus broccoli with Camembert melted on. I had a little walk along the Lagerflot lake, this is the blip, looking down from a little promontory.
