Respect
Hello, again and welcome back to this, day 3 of the Alternative Olympic Games 2020 (Tag AOG20203 today) I do hope that as many of you as possible are joining us this week.
Those of you who were with us yesterday will recall that we had some shenanigans in the Hedge Hopping quarter finals.
Well, you will be delighted to hear that today has been the diametric opposite in terms of team behaviour in the stadium (I have no idea what happens in the Olympic Village so probably best left undiscussed!)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind comments over the last two, very busy, days and also for your generosity in terms of Blip rewards. Much humbled I am sure.... *tugs forelock!
But what about today you ask.Well, as you see from the main photo, we had the Blackbird Pick a Worm contest.
The manners, THE MANNERS of this avian friend were exemplary. Just look at him in front of the royal box. He bows so low that he almost loses the food for his young.
Potential sacrifice indeed when he is risking the health of his offspring to show such politeness to the Swan who was sitting (as I am sure you can imagine!!!) just off camera.
Again, if you were following yesterday, you will have seen Percy the Pigeon, as the umpire in the Hedge Hopping competition. Well, here he is again (in extras) inspecting the course for today's Semi Finals.
I am happy to report that all seems to be quite under control today.
Many thanks to all of you who are taking part in this annual event and good luck to all competitors. I will take a look at your entries later as there is curry for supper and the grandchildren are coming round! #priorities!!!
