Booze And Bingo.

The green building is the old Brewery and the newer white building is the Bingo Hall and Wilkinsons store. The Brewery was founded by John Christian Curwen, the Lord of the Manor in 1792, trading commenced in 1795. Mathew Brown &Co had it for a while and Lakeland Larger Brewery it closed down in 1988 and is now flats. The Bingo hall replaced one shut down in 2004.
