Photo is a quick garden snap, note the bare wall where we lost a huge hebe over the winter!

Today Mr L said he needed to just check the gas fitting on the cooker to make sure it was a bayonet type that he could disconnect ready for the new cooker coming. What a disaster! A simple job turned into a nightmare when we discovered the people before us had built a huge floor to ceiling cupboard in front of the electric socket, and encased it! Everything had to come out, and as we moved the cupboard out, the plastic (who uses plastic for this sort of thing)! Leg shattered. By the time we had finished, all four legs had broken off! This was one of the occasions that it is useful he keeps all sorts of things. It is now on wooden blocks with a plinth in front and I do have a tidy cupboard!
