Hythe

We’ve been planning to try the fish and chips on Hythe beach for ages. Last summer was thwarted a couple of times and since lockdown eased to allow travel further than five miles, a lot of my team have done the journey down and always recommended it. Today we go there, met up with Sue and Roger (extras) and it was well worth the wait. The journey through St Mary’s bay and Dymchurch showed overflowing car parks and lots of people. Hythe however was fine, and it dawned on me that Littlestone (always quiet) and Hythe both have mostly pebble beaches, and the mega busy ones are sand. Happy to stick to pebbles!
