Tilting
My recent walks up and down the towpath of the Rochdale Canal have discovered quite a lot of engineering work going-on. This has affected the water levels in the pounds between the locks. This boat, which has been moored for a week or two, is tilting alarmingly as one side is caught on a shallow lip of stone near the edge of the canal. If there is anyone in there, they'll find that the food is sliding off their plates.
More photographs from Silverdale, taken yesterday on our jaunt with grandchildren, are on Flickr.
