Norfolk Hawker? Dragonfly

I've put the landscape crop up because of the detail, but overall I prefer the extra , which is full frame SOOC. This is, I think, a Norfolk Hawker. If so, it's a rarity nationally and rather far from Norfolk. Or a Common Darter. I'm no expert.

Another lovely hot day, and Gin has liberally been mixed with Tonic, lemon and vast quantities of ice. Perhaps not quite enough, but the day is yet young.

Earlier, Janet had a reality check when we dared to drive to the local garden centre. We didn't make it inside... suddenly we didn't really need those bags of compost after all. We are institutionalised Lockdowners.
