Through the curtain .....
.... as opposed to the looking glass!
It has been an almost balmy day today with temperatures up to 6' and again, no wind. Somehow it feels as if we are in the eye of a storm - I hope not!
I put some chicken into the slow cooker to feed both myself and the freezer and then joined my friend with Brodie for a good long walk on the moor and for once we didn't have to wear our hats and gloves. In fact Brodie - being just an adolescent teenager still - smartly whipped my hat from my hand and proceeded to have a merry game with it, tossing it here and there but too quick for me to capture on the camera. Signs of the recent winds were still present, however, and I particularly loved this collection of auburn coloured leaves caught up in the deer fencing with the tantalising view of the snowy hills in the background.
