Synchronised Statues failure

It was a massive shock when team Goldie failed to win the synchronised statues gold on the opening day of the AOG. They had been practising hard and were the outright favourites but a huge lapse in concentration led to a loss of points when one of the team suddenly looked down instead of forward.  Distraught and exhausted, Gordon Goldfinch said “I don’t know what happened, one minute I was OK and the routine was going well, and the next minute a spectator was discussing where to find the best sunflower hearts, and I just had to look........”

This afternoon we arrived at our new home for the week in Shropshire and settled in nicely. We are in the penthouse (well, the eaves of the big house) and the apartment is lovely. We have windows and views from all four aspects.  With a weeks worth of food and a car to explore the area we won’t be interacting with many people this week I don’t think :)
