Last train of the day leaves Wittersham Road

The first day with Wittersham Road signalbox open since February. All worked well. Only running a one train service doing two round trips so I'm finished by 3.00pm.

Really good to be back working in the box and signalling trains again. The trains were well loaded, as good as they usually would be on a summer Saturday except we're only running two of the five trips we would normally operate.

Lots of positive comments from passersby who had to wait at the gates while the trains crossed. A lovely, quiet day back where I really enjoy being.
