Shadows

Today’s sunshine cast strong shadows, but luckily it wasn’t as hot as yesterday. Even so, I found gardening hard work, and it was much more pleasant to sit in the sun.
The shadows are cast by a wrought iron circular table and chairs, very pretty, but not very comfortable. My stepfather bought them in the 1960s and for some reason which has long since escaped me, N and I had to drive up to Central London to collect them!
