The crappy week continues

A brilliant view as usual on the way to work, but even in this remote part of the world, crap happens.

We had a very emotive parents' night last night, with parents up in arms about the closure of 2 departments. The staff involved were very emotional, and everyone was down, down, down.....

Then, I was told by my HT that a parent had complained that I was "agressive" with pupils, and the HT says that he notices I am "agressive" with pupils in the corridors.

I think the word used to be "strict".

But, hey, that's OK. I have told my HT that I will, from now on, walk past any child doing something wrong - shoving, kicking, swearing, phoning.

To hell. Don't care any more.

Actually, I do - but will bite my tongue.
