A Burned Oot Shell

Gales have been blowing all day and night, but a glorious day of sunshine, and really warm.  Clouded over this evening.

Another day working in the museum.  It's been a fairly quiet day.  Met up with friend Julie for lunch.  Packed up this evening, and headed north to Brae with the caravan for the weekend, although I am working tomorrow.  Mam and dad popped by the caravan for a cuppa too.

After tea, walkies with Sammy took us to the burned out shell of the hotel.  They have made a statement saying the cause was a fire in the linen cupboard, by a satellite box catching fire.  Such a shame to see it in this state.  I never made it through the door, always meant to, you always think you have time.  I was shocked to see it still smoking tonight, hopefully won't catch fire again.  The Moorfield Hotel, Brae.
