Remarkable (s)
I was not there to supervise this and take no responsibility for it. The Boss left me at home this afternoon as he popped over the hill to Queenstown to pick up The Boss from the airport. He said...AND I quote "You would have to wait in the car and it is a hot day so you are better off here...OK?" And I guess I was as there was plenty of shade spots to explore AND I felt very proud that I resisted the temptation to have some mining practise in the now soil filled planter, the object of earlier mining adventures. Tho I think that dogs should be allowed into airports. I was a few years ago but it was a short journey to the freight dept and into a crate to go see my mum, as previously mentioned.
We did have a fun filled morning with a visit from J who was picking up some art works that The Boss had donated to a local Art Auction in support of a CT scanner installation at our nearest hospital at Dunston, about an hour away. J was a real doggie person and let me give him a complete retouch job on his legs. They look much better now and tasted delicious.
The mountains in the background are "The Remarkables" which are the backdrop for the town of Queenstown. Bare at the moment they will before long, be covered with snow for the next winter season and will then truly look even more....Remarkable.
Bigger is even more Remarkable
