Emerging Bee

I spent a great deal of time today watching a hole in some insulation. I blipped some leaves a few days ago (July 23rd) with shapes cut out by the leaf cutter bee for lining iis nest. I didn't know then where the bee was heading. Yesterday I heard some loud scratching noise outside the conservatory and discovered the bee had made a hole in the insulation just outside the kitchen window and the noise was the bee working away inside creating it's tunnels. The hole is almost a centimetre in diameter.

Trying to catch the bee on camera was difficult as it was in and then out very quickly. This is one of the two in focus that I managed. The extra is the bee heading in.
