The other side

Son is in Oxford for a week with a car. He suggested using it to go for a walk. I suggested Wittenham Clumps. 

We watched kestrels hanging in the air, we looked for miles and miles, we walked among the trees in dappled light.

Then we went on to Goring Gap where the Thames cuts though the chalk hills and we climbed up onto the Ridgeway and walked through The Holies. More views, more dappled light. Then a stonebaked pizza by the Thames.
