Another shopping day

Chris offered to take the Crosby Mafia (aka my mum and aunt) shopping again. This time to Bootle to `The Strand` shopping centre.
Same strategy as yesterday, leave them to their own devices, meet up in an hour, take shopping to car and so on and so on till we have had enough.
Wanted to go to Crosby beach whilst we where up here and as Aunty Rose had never been we decided to take them both. It holds happy memories for me as I used to go down with my Dad and we would either walk along the beach or just sit in the car and watch the ships coming up the river
The weather was blowing a hooley so we decided just to sit and watch the tide come in. Then I thought `bugger it I`m going to try and get some pics`.
The wind was that bad the birds where getting blown backwards and I had a job keeping the camera steady. Took a few and then retreated back to the car. I think these gulls had given up trying to fly
