Sally Mair - Loving life

Restricted if not blinkered

This seemed to fit the mono Monday challenge rather well behind its grille.
I was intrigued to see the impressive marketing of these anti fog lenses. Could be the answer to a problem for many of us if we are wearing masks for the foreseeable future.
Monday today, and a very dreich Monday it has been by and large, A few glimpses of the sun in gaps between the showers but nothing to write home about. St Swithin is living up to his reputation.
I had a lazy start to the day today and pottered about until lunchtime. I'm reading Richard Osman's new book on my Kindle at the moment - The Thursday Murder Club, it's an advance reader's copy in exchange for a review. I'm quite enjoying it but as it is an advance copy there are strange layout and formatting blips which startle at times. They won't be there when it is published.
Took my car down for a service and its MOT this afternoon, haven't seen it since March as Katy and Jon have been using it. I quite enjoyed driving it. Hopefully I'll get it back good as new tomorrow with no nasty surprises.
We had a 'clear out the fridge ' dinner tonight finishing off lots of odds and ends, very satisfying.

Thank you all for your good wishes for our anniversary yesterday and your stars and hearts for my stained glad window and butterfly. Very much appreciated.

Keep safe everybody
