A day of two halves

Heavy rain this morning so we stocked up on supplies. The shops were less busy than expected so we were in and out without much stress. 

By afternoon the weather abated and allowed us to make the most of a waterfall walk. Again not many people about. The impervious rocks meant the heavy rain ran off into the streams quickly. By the time we got back the sun put in an appearance.

The evening was so nice we had a delightful ride to Harlech to see the castle. The roads and Harlech were very quiet and we enjoyed a walk round. The castle has yet to reopen to visitors but impressive even from the outside.
