Dunkeld Cathedral
We had time to kill today having done the miles yesterday. We called in to Crieff in torrential rain to pick up our race bibs and information. We were too early to go to our cottage in Amulree so continued on to Dunkeld.
We nearly regretted this decision as it involved crossing a very busy A9. However the weather cleared up and we enjoyed a leisurely walk around the town. Surprisingly, for its size, it at one time had a cathedral. These are the impressive gates to the now ruined cathedral.
Then it was off to settle in to our cottage for the week. Pleased we came up a day early just to give us a days grace before running tomorrow. The wi fit in the cottage is not working so am back blipping from a cafe.
