Day Trip

Not really, as it was only about half an hour away, but that suited me just fine! 

I took K, and after a quick stop at his house where he offered me a cup of tea, we ventured forth, despite the intermittent rain. When we got there and paid we waited underneath a covered area until the shower had passed. When I envisaged this trip last week, I didn't imagine I'd be stood in a field with my hood up and an umbrella in July! 

We didn't stay too long, but it was long enough really. It was really pretty there, and I loved having the chance to take photos. Not as big as Mayfield Lavender, but I didn't want to drive too far. 

After walking 18k steps yesterday in the rain with H, my knee is very sore, so I didn't join in with walking Little B tonight.
