Nice & Nasty

On the dog walk, there is a fig that has grown wild in the woods. Probably dropped by a bird. It is now loaded with young figs. I doubt I will get to see the ripe ones - they will have been nabbed before I can get to them.  For the additional pic: a few minutes later and down the way further, these ‘fruit’ were by the side of the road. It is commonly known as ‘Cuckoo Pint’. They result in a large number of stomach pumps for children (and adults) who think they are something nice to forage. They are most certainly not nice to eat.
