Whoosh!

The wind seemed to be coming straight from the north this morning and carrying the clouds and the trees with it!

We bought a new digital car radio at the weekend and try as he might Mr Lif cannot get it to save our favourite settings. Instead it insists on going through a lengthy initialisation routine and then screeches out something unintelligible. A job to revisit at the weekend. What it does have is an USB for the iPhone so I have been plugging in my phone and listening to my toons on the lengthy 13 min drive to work.

I have learnt that I cannot tolerate meatloaf first thing in the morning, although find him perfectly acceptable after a few wines. I am however, particularly fond of spot of Sweet Home Alabama, will sing along to Under Pressure, Father and Son (Cat Stevens), Life on Mars and anything by the Chilli Peppers to cover the last mile or two. If the radio situation is not resolved, I may seriously have to address the music collection on my phone!

It's probably just as well I only have an 8 mile drive!
