Sir David Stirling

This morning we nipped over to the Kelpies for a good walk as rain was promised (threatened?) for later. Delighted to discover a good stretch of wild flowers along one of the paths. ( see today’s extra)
That rain did arrive later but we were back indoors so avoided a soaking.
This afternoon we decided to treat ourselves to fish ‘n’ chips from our favourite chippy, the Allanwater Cafe. Masks, screening, social distancing etc were the order of the day and they were only cooking to order so everything was super fresh. And super delicious too, worth the three month wait!
Back home via Sir David’s memorial to enjoy the big sky, big hills views. Time for a cuppa & a biscuit now, thank you.
