Went out for a walk this morning, and walked around the castle again. The church is still closed although you can go in on Wednesday and Saturday for an hour, for private prayers. I didn't take a coat and on my walk back I felt a few drops of rain, but luckily it passed. If I had had to phone J to pick me up because it was raining he would have said, I told you, and I wanted to avoid that at all costs. I am looking forward to our first crop of French beans which we are having with bacon chops for our evening meal, and dessert is a fresh cream chocolate swiss roll accompanied by a bottle of Merlot.
