A teddies work is never done.

Made cheese scones this morning, and then of course had to sample one with a cup of coffee. Weather was rubbish so after cleaning the kitchen floor we started looking for a week away in September, as it's our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We looked for ages and in the end gave it up as a bad job. The earliest available dates were October, so I think it's a staycation for us. Very disappointed, but resigned to the fact now. A Chinese meal for us tonight with some Henney's cider. Just the job on a Saturday night.
