Guirelande

When it arrived in the post at the beginning of February, the Guirelande rose bush, a rambler, looked like a dead twig. It's now almost 2m tall, still growing fast, and full of clusters of small, fragrant flowers. They start as deep pink buds, and lighten with age - beautiful.

PS. We had planned to be at Warwick Folk Festival this weekend with our trade stall, meeting up with friends, making some new ones, playing/listening to music, watching some dancing and, hopefully, selling some musical instruments. In the evenings we usually sit by the stall, watching the lights come on whilst enjoying a glass or two of proper cider from the bar. And we may even get to see a concert after packing up for the night! Watching an episode of a 'Walter Presents' series with MrM, and enjoying a glass or two of chilled white wine was very pleasant... but here's to Warwick Folk Festival 2021!
