Moment of calm

Ballerina roses. They seem to be loving the heat.

Taken in a moment of relative calm, on a day of mad activity, desperately trying to sorting things out ready for a very early start tomorrow. A day of record high-temperatures in Britain and parts of Europe, and very hot and humid in the flat, even in deepest, darkest Northumberland! Far too hot to be dashing around, but c'est la vie!
