Looking Up

After a restless night due to itchy everything, I woke to all swellings going down! Hooray!! A strict adherence to the antihistamine regime has kept the itching under control all day so fingers crossed it will last into tonight.

Fired up by the steroids, I took on the bathroom but had to give in and let MrRoly finishes cleaning the shower, I appear to have developed weak wrists and hands!! Such a shame.

We then repacked the airing cupboard which I’d emptied before all this nonsense started before a light lunch.

Then off to Penzance to pick up a bargainous £5 posture kneeling chair thing and do a Morrison’s shop. Thrilling it was and very quiet compared to our local stores - possibly because there is a huge Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s within 5 minutes walk?

Home then to do a bit of work while The Boy and MrRoly cooked tea - the Eldest’s boyfriend has come to stay for a bit so we’ve got to get a bit better about proper vegetarian cooking - then out again to deliver wine to Mike.

We ended up staying to chat for a couple of hours which was just fab as all work talk was banned so it was all about sailing, holidays and nice things.

As we came in, we spotted The Boy’s cat sat precariously on how windowsill keeping an eye on everything. She does like to know what’s what!

So although I’m knackered, Mum will hopefully be pleased to know that things are definitely looking up xx
