In Isolation

The osteospermum plants in our pots are in full flower and even the late rain couldn't dull their vibrance of colour.  I managed to find this one in splendid isolation despite the profusion of flowers on the plant.  It is a delight to see the intricacy of the flowers elements and I don't think I'd noticed the little hairs at its base before.

Many thanks for the response to yesterday's blip of Ironbridge.  It is a fascinating place to visit and I'd strongly recommend it if you are in the area.
