Same Old .......

Heavy rain when I got up -- which showed up the leak in next door's down-pipe. Not too much of a problem, apart from the fact that the water was spraying out like a hose which tends to point to a blocked pipe allowing a big head of water to build up to produce the pressure. I pointed it out to her and she will get one of her workmen friends to give it a look.

I have no idea what the problem was but the power kept  blipping off and on - just for a second or so, but enough to be annoying and having to reset timers on various appliances. Very worrying when it happens at the lathe though. Not that it stopped me from making a couple of boxes and the spinning top in the picture box (Willow, Yew and artificial tortoise shell). The boxes are in the extras.
