Jerbourg from Moulin Huet
Today was planned but when I checked the bus timetable there was a 2 day diversion right where I wanted to be so Plan B It was.
Bus to the Doyle Monument and grab Terry Mumby’s Lone Pine cache. As I got close I realised I walked right past it the last time I was at Jerbourg but hadn’t checked what caches were there. Never mind it was soon in hand and I headed for Moulin Huet.
Some of the cliff paths are a tad overgrown but a very pleasant walk. I didn’t even consider going down to Petit Port (steps, steps and more steps) and thank goodness I didn’t because I can barely walk now; my hip was unimpressed with a cliff walk.
A couple more caches around Moulin Huet and I limped back up to the bus home.
But as I type this in the middle of the afternoon all has calmed down and I can once again walk without a dramatic limp...
