From Bempton Cliffs...
... looking towards Flamborough, complete with a very co-operative gannet.
This was our first visit to RSPB Bempton Reserve for about two years and we set off quite early this morning, aiming to avoid traffic heading to the coast.
The journey was quite pleasantly smooth and we arrived whilst the reserve was relatively quiet. This was one of my first shots of the day. The extra gannet portrait was taken from the same spot, looking down the cliff.
Unfortunately, it didn't take long before the reserve was packed with noisy family groups, poorly controlled dogs and, in many cases, a complete disregard for social distancing.
We didn't stay long and gently tootled our way up the coast before an easy drive home.
