Life on the Waterfront

I was awake pretty early today. Zeph had accidentally set his alarm - he slept through it but I was soon wide awake, having been half awake already.

Once it had stopped I cat-napped while the actual cat did a sprint and claw-sharpening challenge - down then up the stairs as fast as you can, loudly sharpen the claws for around 15 secs, rinse and repeat as many times as possible until your Maidservant gives in and gets up!

It was another parent-visiting day. As usual only one of them actually wanted me there... I had prescriptions to collect and a few other jobs to keep me busy!

Jae picked me up and I went into town to get some things from Wilko including a small dish for an individual lasagne for Jae since he is vegan and Zeph and I have meat!

I walked down to the Brayford to find a blip. Not all the cafes and restaurants down there are open yet, and the big trip boat is not running again yet. It would probably have to run at less than half capacity so I doubt it would be cost effective! But it is looking more like normal now with a bit of activity returning
