The forgotten cathedral

It’s always left out of books and calendars featuring the most beautiful British cathedrals. I have never understood why. On a bright morning, there is none more stunning or noble than Lichfield. 

She is tricky to photograph in the morning because of the light. She is impossible to capture later in the day because of parked cars.

The delicate fragrant lavender in the foreground adds to the magic. 

Again, the photo doesn’t do her justice.
