Rode Hall and Gardens

Another RHS Partner garden adventure. 

I headed just over the Cheshire border but couldn’t  find the signs. I pulled into a lay-by and tried again. Signs are clear from the north but coming up from Stoke they’re missing. Should I read something into this ? ,

It was really hot and the Hall was short on signs too. My blip is the view towards the lake, standing in front of the house. The statue is in just the perfect location. These gardens make the most of my favourite cosmos and hydrangeas.

But the most amazing part of this property is the fabulous, and enormous, kitchen garden. Flowers, fruit, veg - on a terrific scale.

Well worth a visit.
