Late developer?

Martin - who is not the gardener of the house - drew my attention to these flowers on my rowan. The rest of the tree is covered in its berries. I’ve never seen flowers and berries co-exist like this before.
I was really pleased to get a visit from my friend Margaret this morning. I hadn’t seen her since lockdown started. We had a socially distanced coffee with homemade scones and muffins in the garden. It was lovely, though at times we needed umbrellas!
